Did you know that for housing to be considered "affordable" your rent and your utilities should not cost you more than 30% of your income? How much of your family’s income goes toward housing expenses? If your housing costs were 30% or less of your family’s income, what else would you be able to do for your family?

If I were able to spend less on housing costs, I could save money for my children's college education.
ReplyDeleteI think that my rent and utilities are exactly 30% of my income. Right now I am comfortable living a simple lifestyle... if I had children, my budget would be a lot tighter, and I wouldn't be able to live in a more expensive house or area.

ReplyDeletePodria tener una cuenta de ahorros para la vejez y una de ahorros para emergencia, podria dar a mis hijos mas oprtunidades de asistir a clases de musica, deportes campamentos etc.
ReplyDeleteProbalemente no tendria que trabajar tanto y podria disfrutar un poco mas de mis hijos y dedicarles mas tiempo y atencion sin tener tanto estres de los gastos.

If I only had to pay 30% of my income I would be able to afford to go back to college and finish my degree. I would also be able to send my kids to summer camp or allow them to do extra activities like swiming, dance, ect.
